More like black and blue. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers shut down the Chicago Bears via Twitter on Sunday, February 28, after the rival team made fun of his color-coordinating outfit with girlfriend Olivia Munn on the red carpet of the 2016 Oscars.
The NFL hunk, 32, was the perfect fit at the star-studded show in a navy tux by Isaia paired with Neil Lane cufflinks and Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. Rodgers cozied up beside his girlfriend, 35, who was radiant in a fire-orange red gown by Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo stilettos.
While the rest of the fashion world marveled at the gorgeous couple, eagle-eyed football fans noticed something about their outfits: Together, the Zoolander 2 actress and Rodgers were wearing the official colors of Jay Cutler‘s Chicago Bears.
The NFL first posted a photo of the hot couple smiling on the red carpet alongside a bunch of fire emojis, which the Bears retweeted with a message of its own.

Rodgers’ former teammate and tight end Tom Crabtree saw the post, and clapped back with a pretty snarky response of his own.
Well, he owns you so he can do what he wants with your colors. https://t.co/9KRSn07bKy

Meanwhile, the Packers’ official Twitter account took the more diplomatic route and tweeted a photo of Rodgers waving at cameras.

Rodgers — who had the best time on Sunday, photobombing Common on the red carpet and eating Girl Scout cookies inside the Dolby Theatre — had the real last laugh. The handsome QB simply retweeted Crabtree and shut down the Bears entirely. (He does, after all, have an impressive record against Chicago.)
