Quesa-awesome! Taco Bell confirmed to Us Weekly on Thursday, March 10, that it will be the latest fast-food chain to add a dollar menu to its offerings, and it’s starting with the most important meal of the day: breakfast.
The chalupa champs announced in their release to Us that the dollar menu will include several new dishes. The reinvented options include the Mini Skillet Bowl, the Breakfast Soft Taco (cooked with either bacon or sausage) and the Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla.
The mouthwatering Mini Skillet Bowl will include seasoned breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, melted cheese and Pico de Gallo. The sausage quesadilla, meanwhile, is a grilled option filled with three different cheeses, sausage and scrambled eggs.
Other offerings on the menu include the Grilled Breakfast Burrito, the hash brown, a two-pack of Cinnabon Delights and the orange citrus flavor of Mountain Dew Kickstart.
Of course, the Mexican-style fast food joint’s biggest morning competitor will be McDonald’s, which also offers a breakfast dollar menu.
There will be a total of 10 food items (all, of course, offered for a buck each).
