Hello, this is what dreams are made of. Adele look-alike Emily Bamforth posed for a selfie with the superstar singer during her 25 world tour concert stop in Birmingham, England, on Tuesday, March 29.
Bamforth was in the house on Tuesday night with her fiancé, Tom Winkler, when he got Adele’s attention from their floor seats. “All I did was very politely stand up with my hand up and asked her a question,” Winkler told The Daily Mail on Wednesday. “I’m 6 feet 8, only two rows from the front. She called me handsome.”
His fiancée has been pegged as an Adele doppelgänger since 2012, following the “When We Were Young” singer’s breakout year. Bamforth has even posted numerous Adele-inspired snaps, including a makeup tutorial to show fans how to replicate the British beauty’s dramatic look, complete with pouty lips and winged liner.
The ladies share identical burnished honey tresses parted to the side, and wide-set eyes.
“She’s been a huge fan,” Winkler gushed of his future wife. “This has made her night.”
Bamforth isn’t the only Adele doppelgänger out there. Another fan, a 22-year-old Swedish woman named Ellinor Hellborg, recently made headlines for her uncanny resemblance to the “Hello” singer.
“I had thought about looking similar to Adele before, noticing small similarities in our profiles, but I didn’t really think anything of it until people on Instagram started commenting on it,” Hellborg told The Daily Mail earlier this month. “It used to be once in a while, almost exclusively when my sister posted pictures of us on her account since she had a lot of followers on her Instagram.”
