While on a Mexican vacation with pals in December 2015, Little Women: Terra’s Little Family star, Terra Jole had some big news to share with her husband of nearly a year, Joe Gnoffo. “I found out I was pregnant,” the Lifetime regular, 35, reveals exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly. “I contemplated taking pictures of pregnancy tests but decided to wait until I got back to tell him.”
Jole is hoping to keep at least one other thing a surprise too: the baby’s sex. “We’re really hoping that this time we don’t find out the gender and can go all the way without knowing,” Jole, who is due in August, tells Us. “Now we get to argue over two names instead of one!”
The reality star, already the mom of Penelope, 13 months, says she’s “in heaven” now that she’s in her second trimester, but admitted her first pregnancy was easier. “I was only nauseous maybe two days with Penelope and just toward the end I was very uncomfortable,” says the Texas native. “But whatever is growing inside of me this time is definitely different. There is not a day I didn’t have nausea in my first trimester!”
The couple’s first child, Penelope — who has dwarfism — suffers from hydrocephalus, which means she has an excessive accumulation of fluid in the brain. In March, she underwent spinal decompression surgery. “We have another MRI coming up and we’ll definitely know more,” says the L.A-based mom. “Temperament-wise, you would never guess that she ever had a surgery … because she’s very happy and just an easygoing child."
