Lotus flower bomb! Halle Berry isn’t a stranger to shears, but the actress went even shorter with her newest hairstyle. Berry, 49, Instagrammed a photo of her undercut with a lotus flower buzzed just above the nape of her neck.
“AND FOR MY NE✂️T TRICK…,” the Kidnap star captioned the June 11 shot that displayed her highlighted locks pinned at the crown of her head.
Celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess, who’s responsible for the ‘do, Instagrammed the same photo on June 13. “the prettiest lotus for the prettiest human,” she wrote.
It seems like Berry, who’s the mom of daughter Nahla and son Maceo, can’t stay away from the scissors. She’s progressively gone shorter while filming 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle in London. On May 3, she arrived at New York City’s JFK airport with a closely cropped, ear-length bob and bangs. The star also shared another mysterious shot of her highlighted mane styled in an asymmetrical bob on April 24. “I am not my hair. ✂️🎬 (exploring my new film character.),” she Instagrammed. The following week, she posted more behind-the-scenes shots of her hair transformation and gave a shout-out to Ess.
Berry, who’s famous for her ’90s-era pixie cut, has been open about the benefits of having short hair. “When you cut your hair, it’s so freeing,” she told Lipstick. “And I find when I have short hair, I feel like I have nothing to hide behind anymore … When you have short hair, there’s just a feeling of here I am. What you see is what you get. And there’s a confidence that comes with wearing short hair and I like the way that makes me feel.”
