Third time’s the charm! Nick Viall will officially be looking for love on season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, Us Weekly can confirm.
The software salesman, 35, was runner-up on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s seasons of The Bachelorette. He famously clashed with winner Shawn Booth and the other men on Bristowe’s season 11 last year over his late arrival to the show and his unapologetic attitude about getting coveted time with the Bachelorette. He especially didn’t win any friends when he slept with Bristowe before the fantasy suite dates. Booth hated him so much that he refused to refer to Viall by his name and instead called him “the other guy.”
The Milwaukee native also feuded with Dorfman’s season 10 winner, Josh Murray, who is rumored to be appearing on Paradise as well. On the After the Final Rose segment that aired in July 2014, Viall bluntly asked Murray’s then-fiancée Dorfman, “If you weren’t in love with me, I’m just not sure why, like, why you made love with me?” Murray called Viall “classless” and “disrespectful” for openly discussing his intimate fantasy suite date with Dorfman.
Viall will be joining fellow contestant from Bristowe’s season, Jared Haibon, on Bachelor in Paradise as well as twins Haley and Emily Ferguson, Leah Block, Lace Morris, Amanda Stanton, Jubilee Sharpe and Isabel “Izzy” Goodkind from Ben Higgins’ season 20 of The Bachelor.
Other previously announced cast members include Sarah Herron from Sean Lowe’s Bachelor season 17 and Carly Waddell from Chris Soules’ Bachelor season 19. Notorious villain Chad Johnson from JoJo Fletcher’s current season of The Bachelorette will also be heading to Paradise. More of Fletcher’s suitors will likely be announced once season 12 is finished airing.
