This movie just got a whole lot sexier! Miguel covered Beyoncé‘s 2003 hit “Crazy in Love” for the new Fifty Shades Darker trailer (which you can watch in all its glory above) — and we are obsessed.
In the highly anticipated trailer, released Tuesday, September 13, the “Adorn” crooner, 30, flaunts his sultry, smooth falsetto voice on his rendition of the tune.
Like Beyoncé’s 2014 remix — which was featured in the hit franchise’s first film, Fifty Shades of Grey — Miguel’s “Crazy in Love” plays like a midtempo bedroom jam, a very different vibe than that of the upbeat, funky original.
The supersexy Fifty Shades Darker trailer shows Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan, and Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson, getting busy in the bedroom and fooling around in the shower.
“Forget the past and slip into something a shade darker,” the trailer begs viewers.
Based on the second book in the bestselling adult trilogy by British author E L James, the forthcoming sequel costars Marcia Gay Harden, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Kim Basinger, Hugh Dancy, Eric Johnson and Tyler Hoechlin. The film is directed by James Foley, who also helmed the franchise’s original project.
Earlier this year, Johnson, 26, admitted in an Interview magazine feature that she was tired of filming racy, BDSM sex scenes for Fifty Shades Darker.
“Well, we’re not having actual sex. But I’ve been simulating sex for seven hours straight now, and I’m over it,” the Austin native actress told the publication in April.
Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters February 10, 2017.
