Is she winging it? Bella Hadid hasn’t outright confirmed that she’ll be walking in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris, but all signs are pointing to yes. The suspicion started up when the Dior Makeup ambassador, 20, was seen leaving the lingerie brand’s New York City offices on Tuesday, October 25, clad in a black cropped tank top and low-slung camouflage pants topped with a black bomber.
While other beauties, including Toni Garrn, Jasmine Sanders and Maria Borges, also emerged from the midtown Manhattan building that same day for the presumed casting call, Hadid was the only one who got a special shout-out from one of the brand’s higher-ups.
“One of us made the fashion show cut 💥🌑,” Jen Waldman, Victoria’s Secret’s internet merchandising coordinator, captioned an Instagram alongside the model.
By the time Hadid hit Dior’s Art of Beauty exhibition and dinner later that evening, she was still mum about the news even though her fans flooded her Instagram comments with congratulatory messages. And on Wednesday, October 26, her makeup artist, Vincent Oquendo, joined in.
“Congrats my little baby bells on getting @victoriassecret !” he wrote in an early morning upload in which a scantily clad Hadid snapped a selfie (with her pants down!). “It’s been a beautiful ride so far and I can’t wait to see what’s next! ❤️ #proud #blessed #worlddomination”
If Hadid does land the coveted gig, it wouldn’t come as a surprise. She’s already had a banner year: She’s graced the covers of Glamour and Elle as well as Turkish Vogue, and is going against her older sister, Gigi Hadid, for the 2016 Fashion Award’s International Model of the Year honor.
