Chill and cozy is the vibe! Us Weekly has an exclusive inside look at the sweet nursery Bachelor alums Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici designed for their baby boy, Samuel. The pair teamed up with designer Tori Swaim from New Arrivals Inc. and Wayfair to create the perfect haven for their firstborn, who they welcomed into the world July 2.
Giudici, who describes her style as comfortable and clean with a touch of the eclectic, wanted to create a comforting environment for their baby son.
“I wanted to add dimension with different textures in the whites, creams and grays so the room would feel comfortable for the baby and me. And I think we nailed it!” she said of partnering with Wayfair and Swaim. “We wanted the nursery to be a haven for the baby, and knowing that this stage would bring a lot of chaos naturally, I definitely felt that creating a calm environment would help even out potential stress.”
One of the most important items in the room for the first-time mom is the glider.
“It was really important to have a space that we all wanted to be in,” she explained. “The glider was huge for me because I knew I’d spend a lot of time rocking him and feeding him and reading to him.”
The new mom also added personal touches.
“The wallpaper I created for Samuel is my favorite part of the nursery,” she gushed of the personalized space, which features sweet phrases in light-blue paint. “Before he was born, I pictured him in his room, and knowing I made something special for him put a smile on my face.”
