Anything is possible! Donald Trump might be in the White House for the next four years, but could Kanye West could be the man to replace him?
As the Republican candidate was elected president in the shocking 2016 election on Tuesday, November 8, #kanye2020 began trending on Twitter, with fans flooding social media urging West to “save them.”
The outspoken rapper, 39, announced his plans to run for POTUS at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2015 and reiterated them during an interview on BBC Radio 1 year later, saying: “When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views. I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I’m alive, I’m going to try to do it.”
Now it seems there are plenty of people out there who believe he’s a better option than Trump.
“There is only one man who can save us now,” one user wrote beneath a cartoon of West wearing an Adidas suit while sitting in the Oval Office.
“The only hope now is #kanye2020” wrote another.

While there was plenty of joking, many people said they would truly be happier to have West as president.
