Reunited, and it feels so good! Proving their relationship is as amicable as ever, Gwyneth Paltrow shared a heartwarming photo of her ex-husband, Chris Martin, cuddling their son, Moses, on Wednesday, November 23.
The picture posted to Instagram showed the Coldplay rocker, 39, with his eyes closed, embracing the young boy, who had his head nuzzled into his dad’s neck.
“Here is to reunions, togetherness, family, and love love love,” Paltrow captioned the picture. “Happy thanksgiving eve, everyone. Love, gp.”
Martin has just returned to the U.S. after performing at the Global Citizen Festival India, and it looks like he was thrilled to be back in the arms of his family.
Despite pulling the plug on their 12-year marriage two and a half years ago, when they coined the phrase “conscious uncoupling,” Martin and Paltrow have continued to coparent Moses, 10 and Apple, 12, and remain a big part of each other’s lives.
“It’s like we are still a family, but not a couple,” the Goop founder, 44, told Marie Claire Australia in April 2016, according to the Mirror. “I think we are better as friends than we were [married]. We are very close and supportive of one another.”
They’ve both found love with other people since their breakup.
Paltrow has been dating producer Brad Falchuk since August 2014, and Martin has been in a relationship with actress Annabelle Wallis for almost 18 months.
