What pressure? Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle, let fans know she’s nervous about her Thanksgiving feast this year, but it’s not because she’s spending it with the royals.
The Suits beauty hit up Instagram and shared a throwback photo from last year, when she cooked the “perfect Thanksgiving turkey,” but she’s not sure if she can do it two years running.
“Oh, that time I roasted a pretty perfect Thanksgiving turkey!” she captioned the snap of her leaning over the juicy-looking bird. “The question is, can I do it again? The pressure is on!”
She also added the hashtag #letthebriningbegin, suggesting she’ll be using the cooking technique of brining to keep the turkey moist and full of flavor.
Sadly it doesn’t look like Markle, 35, will be with her prince over the American holiday since he’s currently halfway through his tour of the Caribbean.
As Us Weekly reported, Harry was left red-faced when the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, teased him about his new romance.
"I believe we are expecting a new princess soon,” he said during a speech in front of 300 people on Monday, November 21. “I want you to know that you are very welcome to come on your honeymoon here, then Antigua and Barbuda want to welcome you. We have been voted consistently as the best honeymoon destination in the Caribbean, and one of the best in the world, so there will be nowhere in the world as special to spend your honeymoon, when that day arrives."
Harry, 32, acknowledged his relationship with Markle in a statement last month.
