Topped with a bow! Kaley Cuoco was feminine perfection from head to toe at the 22nd annual Critics’ Choice Awards December 11, and her hair was no exception. The Big Bang Theory actress, 31, enlisted celebrity hairstylist Christine Symonds to assemble her half-up, half-down style with a pale pink ribbon at the Santa Monica event.

“We prepped Kaley’s hair with Oribe Grandiose Mousse and blow-dried her hair straight with a round brush,” Symonds tells Stylish. After that, the pro (who also works with Chelsea Handler) used a 2-inch barrel curling iron to create loose waves all over. She followed up with Batiste Dry Shampoo in the top section of her hair to add additional body and texture.
Then, Symonds secured the top half of her hair in a loose ponytail, pulling at the strands to loosen the look. She finished off with a ribbon that matched Cuoco’s embellished Noon by Noor blush top and pants and tied it around the elastic.
“’Tis the season, so it felt right to top @normancook’s look off with a festive ,” Symonds Instagrammed on December 11.
At the end of the night, Cuoco, who walked the carpet with boyfriend Karl Cook, thanked Symonds and the rest of her glam squad for their hard work. “Had a magical evening in my dream dress (and pants),” she captioned that same night.
