A good distraction. Hours after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Gavin Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani with their nanny, the No Doubt rocker teared up during a live taping of The Voice. Stefani became emotional when she was faced with the decision to send home three singers from the competition.
“Honestly, I am so blown away by this whole experience,” the “Used to Love You” singer, 46, said on Wednesday, Nov. 11, as she sat a few feet away from her new boyfriend, Blake Shelton. “You guys are saving me, you know, you are saving me. I love you guys. Watching you blossom before my eyes, having my influence on you is such a gift.”
“I don’t know what to do. I am just talking. What am I doing?” she continued, flustered. “I only get to save one of you guys and that is totally upsetting. But you are all so far ahead of where you were and have such opportunities now. So, look at the positive!”
Stefani’s personal life has been rocky this past year. She ended her 13-year marriage with Rossdale, 50, in August. (The exes share sons Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months.) Sources told Us she found out in February that he had been having a full-fledged three-year affair with their longtime nanny, Mindy Mann. Insiders claim she found nude photos of Mann on the family’s iPad, which was linked to the Bush frontman’s phone.
“One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen,” an insider told Us. “This was done right under Gwen’s nose.”
