That heavenly glow! The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015 took place on Tuesday, Nov. 10, in NYC, and naturally, every Angel’s face was positively radiant on the runway. As it turns out, that’s thanks to one very special lady, facialist Mzia Shiman, and the one product she swears by.
After giving each of the models, including Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, and Sara Sampaio, an oxygen-infused facial (“It makes the pores look beautiful. Everything just looks fresh and plump,” Shiman tells Us), the skincare pro sent them home with the Decleor Aroma White C+ Brightening Sheet Mask.
“The mask not only hydrates, but also balances the skin. It takes away any redness,” says Shiman, who explains that redness is the Angels’ number-one concern, as the girls like to exercise hardcore. “If someone worked out, or even just had a facial, which can sometimes cause a little redness, the mask will just cool the skin off. It’s a 15-minute boost.”
And the best part: “if you do the mask, it gives you enough hydration that you don’t need to do anything else after that,” Shiman, who has been working with models for 27 years, shares.
That said, it takes more than one product to keep the Victoria’s Secret models looking HD-perfect at all times. “The models get monthly facials — it’s so important,” Shiman tells Us. “The girls have to have good skin, because when it comes to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, it’s literally perfection.”
But for all that expectation, Shiman says that prepping for the VS Fashion Show is not stressful. “The show is ultra-organized,” she shares. Plus, the clientele couldn’t be sweeter. “The girls are very respectful. They come on time, they change, they’re pleasant, they hug and kiss everybody, they’re happy to take pictures,” Shiman says. “I mean, they’re just wonderful.”
