Jason Priestley is not happy about True Tori. The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor took to his Twitter this weekend to express his discontent after Tori Spelling revealed during her Lie Detector Test that they had sex, among many other secrets from the show.
On Spelling’s one-hour Lifetime special, the mom of four confirmed that she had a “summer fling” with Priestley, who played Brandon Walsh on the series. “It was off-set. It was our version of a summer romance,” Spelling reflected. “And that was it. And we stayed great friends for the rest of the run and beyond that.”
While Priestley didn’t outright deny that they slept together — Spelling was strapped to a polygraph when she shared the info — the ’90s heartthrob blasted his former costar for, ahem, putting their past on blast. He also seemed peeved about the Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story, which aired on Lifetime on Saturday, Oct. 3.
I’m not getting into this… It’s nobody’s business… Either way… https://t.co/zBUX3Ept6s

I’m only speaking with negativity about the Lifetime movie and Tori’s lie detector… Nothing but love for 90210 https://t.co/wTAMIqNiBm

Priestley even got sarcastic at one point when a fan called out that Spelling, indeed, sold Priestley’s wedding invite for $5. The person pointed out that Spelling failed her polygraph when she was asked whether she sold the invitation. While Dean McDermott’s wife denied that she had sold the invitation, the lie detector caught her fib.
Really??!!? I’m shocked!! https://t.co/KNLrf2VQy0

As he revealed in his 2014 memoir, Spelling sold the invitation (from Priestley’s second wedding to Naomi Lowde) at a garage sale.
“Tori Spelling’s yard sale made the broadcast that night…I saw my very own wedding invitation on screen,” Priestley wrote in a passage that was excerpted exclusively by Us last May. “Apparently, it had gone for five bucks, including a personal autograph by Tori. She sold my wedding invitation to a stranger.”
For his version of the story, Priestley referred his fans to his book.
Can’t tell you in 140 characters… Read my book… It’s all in there… https://t.co/HaqiutWupo

He also confirmed that things are better between him and his on-screen sister, Shannen Doherty, whom Spelling got fired — after the True Tori star went to her father, show creator Aaron Spelling, to complain.
Shannen and I will always be friends… Been through too much together… https://t.co/Jv5Fx0hTlZ
