He’s not in Kansas anymore. David Spade’s Joe Dirt is back (and dirtier than ever!) for Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser. And it looks like he’ll be having some trouble getting back home. In the upcoming sequel, Joe Dirt gets swept up by a tornado a la The Wizard of Oz.
The not-so-bright Dirt — and his fantastic mullet, of course — gets thrown back to 1965 after the natural disaster. As he tries to find his wife Brandy (Brittany Daniel) and the couple’s kids, he runs into some old friends, some bad guys, and, um, gets his privates stuck in an airplane toilet.
“I’m just a boy that was left at the Grand Canyon. It don’t stop me from being all in, all the time,” Dirt says. In one humorous scene, he adds: “I just get stupider.”
The comedy, which pokes fun at Forrest Gump and has a Back to the Future feel, also stars Christopher Walker, Mark McGrath, Patrick Warburton, Adam Beach, and Susie Abromeit.
Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser will begin streaming on Sony’s Cackle on July 18.
