Kyle Richards can now add co-executive producer to her resume. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has inked a development deal with TV Land for a comedy series inspired by her upbringing.
The untitled project is set in the ‘70s and revolves around Bonnie Nolan, a 40-year-old woman who has to learn how to support herself and her three daughters after her marriage fails, similar to the former child star’s own mother, Kathleen Richards, who raised Richards and her sisters Kim and Kathy Hilton.
30 Rock writer John Riggi is on board to pen the pilot’s script along with ER and Shameless’ John Wells and Andrew Stearn.
“I’m so excited and proud to be collaborating with such a talented and creative team to bring this story to life,” Richards tells Us Weekly in a statement.
