First comes love, then comes marriage! Everything is awesome for George Clooney after marrying Amal Alamuddin. The once-eternal bachelor sat down with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America on Thursday, May 14, where he discussed the latest updates on his marriage.
"Everything’s different now," Clooney said. "Actually it is. I was going to make a joke but it is actually."
The Tomorrowland actor, 54, and international human rights lawyer, 37, married last September in a lavish ceremony before their famous friends and family members in Venice, Italy.
"I couldn’t be happier," Clooney gushed on GMA. "We’re having a really fun time. We’re working on fixing up a house in England that we’ll be spending a lot of time in just outside of London. And we’ve been sort of traveling the world. We’re on our way to Shanghai."
The high-powered duo planned originally to not spend more than one week apart, but it's been difficult. "She actually has a day job," Clooney proudly noted. "She has to like, get people out of jail."
Clooney isn't the only one head over heels for his wife. The actor's longtime pal and Money Monster costar Julia Roberts dished to Extra this week that she totally approved of Alamuddin. "I met her at dinner," the Pretty Woman star revealed. "George doesn’t need my approval, but I’m quite enamored with her."
