Serving up cuteness! Gwen Stefani took her eldest sons Kingston, 8, and Zuma, 6, to the 2015 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif., on Sunday, Mar. 22, where the stylish mom was seated between her adorable kids.
The Stefani-Rossdales were in the house to watch Roger Federer take on No. 1 world-ranked tennis star Novak Djokovic. Stefani, clearly a Federer fan, was seated in the same section as the tennis pro’s wife Mirka Federer.
For the sporting event, the No Doubt singer, 45, dressed casually in a faded BLANKNYC denim shirt, bright pink Quay Australia shades, and her trademark swipe of rouge lipstick. Stefani enthusiastically cheered on Federer from the stands, although the tennis pro ultimately lost to Djokovic.
Her son Kingston, meanwhile, clapped politely throughout the match, and displayed some individual style of his own with frosted side-swept highlights coating his brunette hair. Zuma followed his big brother’s lead by wearing the same Nike shirt, but looked more studious in rimmed glasses.
Absent from the family’s appearance on Sunday were baby Apollo and Gavin Rossdale. The Bush frontman, however, joined his wife at the tennis tournament to watch Federer take on Tomas Berdych on Friday, Mar. 20. The couple cozied up to each other during their date without the kids.
Last fall, Stefani spoke to Us Weekly about balancing a career and three young sons. “It’s a lot, there’s no way to balance it, somebody suffers every day, you know,” she told Us at the week one live show of The Voice. “It’s really a challenge. I don’t want any moms out there to think that I’m doing it right because it’s so hard.”
She joked that catching up on snooze was a luxury. “Sleeping? I try to sleep as much as I can!” she joked. “At this point, I’m waking up through the night, nursing the baby, trying to find time for the other kids, it’s craziness in my world.”
