He sure had a ball with this one! Matt Lauer, who's become a habitual victim of Ellen DeGeneres' frequent pranks, finally enacted his "Mission: Revenge" on the talk show host with the help of many, many ping-pong balls.
Lauer shared his funny prank in a Today show segment on Thursday, Mar. 19, telling viewers his payback was on behalf of his entire team.

"We've been the target of several pranks by a young lady,” Lauer, 57, noted of the comedienne's successful history of pranking Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, and former Today show co-host Meredith Vieira.
Last month, DeGeneres — with the help of some high-tech computer imaging — dressed Lauer in a risqué bondage outfit for his interview with Fifty Shades of Grey stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. She's also called out his alleged "foot fetish" in another digitally recreated moment.
"I vowed I would get revenge and the moment has finally arrived," Lauer said Thursday. "We're done with your cocky pronouncements."
With a helping hand from "half" of the Today show staff, Lauer waited for the opportune moment to strike.
While DeGeneres, 57, was inside her studio taping her talk show, Lauer and his minions poured 20,000 ping-pong balls inside her Porsche Cayenne, making it impossible for her to open her car door without having thousands and thousands of ping-pong balls topple out of the vehicle.
