Leah Messer Calvert has had a change of heart. The 22-year-old is returning to Teen Mom 2 for upcoming season 6, sources confirm to Us Weekly.
The mom of three from Elkview, West Virginia, whose life has been documented by the hit MTV series for five seasons, told a fan on Twitter on Nov. 20 that she would not be returning for the upcoming season.
A source explained to Us that Leah didn't "want her drama on TV anymore," and that she was "scarred by how her split with Corey [Simms] played out on TV."
As fans know, things got messy with Leah and Simms, who tied the knot in 2009, after Simms found out that Leah cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend. The now exes, who are parents to twins Ali and Aleeah, filed for divorce in April 2011.
Following their split, Calvert married Jeremy Calvert a year later in April 2012. The couple welcomed Messer's third child, daughter Addalynn, in February 2013 but the marriage recently soured after Calvert accused Leah of cheating.
For now, at least, the two have worked out their differences, an insider tells Us: "Jeremy and Leah are still together. He's not checked out of their marriage."
Joining Leah for season six are costars Chelsea Houska, Kail Lowry, and Jenelle Evans, who have already begun filming.
