You heard her! Seth Meyers hosted a celebrity Q&A Monday, Aug. 25, at the 2014 Emmy Awards, where he fielded questions from famous audience members like Melissa McCarthy, Jon Hamm, Julianna Margulies, and more.
McCarthy, 43, always the scene-stealer, took home the prize for Best Question, with her line: “I have a question!” The Bridesmaids star explained to the show host how she left her car up on the curb because she was running behind schedule.
“Edie Falco said if I left a note, then I wouldn’t be towed!” Meyers, though, assured McCarthy: “Yes, you’ll get towed.”
Good Wife star Margulies, whose show has been repeatedly snubbed from the category of Best Drama Series year after year, asked if she could take the Emmy home since Maggie Smith wasn’t present. “No,” responded Meyers. “Someone already called it.”
Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andre Braugher stood up and asked if he could use the restroom. “Who has the bathroom key?” Meyers asked the audience. “We only have one key!”
Margulies’ (former) costar Josh Charles slowly stood up as the keeper of the coveted Emmys bathroom key, which was attached to a large golden trophy.
