Chrissy Teigen is the latest celebrity to join the bob brigade! John Legend's wife debuted shorter tresses Monday, July 21, at Stella Artois' Belgian National Day Celebration in NYC.
The Sports Illustrated cover girl, 28, sported her demure new "lob" haircut—a long layered bob with flecks of golden highlights to offset her caramel color tresses—with smoldering eye makeup and a long dress with a sheer top.
Proud of her haircut, Teigen posted a picture on Tuesday, July 22, gushing about the team behind the look. "It takes a village," Teigen wrote, crediting Jen Atkin, along with colorist Tracey Cunningham, hairstylist Mark Townsend, and makeup artist Jake Bailey. Atkin has transformed tresses for the likes of Jessica Alba, Khloe Kardashian, and Sofia Vergara.
Teigen's latest beauty transformation comes one week after revealing a lighter hair color at the 2014 ESPYS in L.A. Before her appearance, Cunningham shared a childhood picture of Teigen, from when the model had blonde hair.
"During a house call with Chrissy Teigen, her mother showed me a pic of what her hair looked like when she was little," Cunningham wrote on Facebook last Thursday, July 17. "I knew right then I had to make her more blonde!"
Teigen joins a slew of stars, like Kristen Stewart, Hilary Duff, and Vanessa Hudgens, who've recently ditched their longer hair for more manageable hairstyles.
