Summery chic! Natalie Portman debuted a lighter hair color at the Miss Dior Exhibition Opening in Shanghai, China, on Thursday, June 19.
The Oscar winner, 33, swapped her dark brunette, shoulder-length tresses for lighter caramel color hair, which she left down in loose waves at the event.
Portman, who's fronted the French fashion house's Miss Dior Cherie fragrance since 2010, accompanied her new hair hue with a soft ladylike ensemble. Portman wore a white silk dress by Dior featuring a cotton basque. The Black Swan star paired her outfit with black pumps, a matching clutch, and white gold and diamond earrings by the same designer.
Portman's appearance at the Shanghai exhibition opening was her first official red carpet event after her Thor tour last November. Speaking then with Us Weekly at the NYC screening of the superhero flick, Portman said she's open to experimenting with a variety of hairstyles.
"Well, I have shaved my head and had it grow back," she recalled of her famous scene in 2006's V for Vendetta. "I feel like that's an experience—that’s a once in a lifetime experience, especially when you have curly hair!"
