Well, that settles that. Jennifer Lopez took to her Twitter to dispel rumors she's dating Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Thursday, June 12.
In response to a radio station's tweet which said the songstress was dating again, the 44-year-old tweeted: "@Qburgh No I'm not. #rumors #nottrue #AKAinstoresJune17" along with a smiley face.
When another fan tweeted the singer, "Does this mean you didn't break up or you're not dating someone new," Lopez clarified: "@MySimple_Life No I'm not. (dating anyone new already)."
After setting the record straight, the American Idol judge hit the stage in Sao Paulo, Brazil, performing the official FIFA song "We Are One (Ole Ola)" alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte at the opening ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup at the Arena de Sao Paulo.
After reports surfaced claiming the "First Love" singer had backed out of the performance, Lopez posted an adorable Instagram video on Thursday morning, where she looked happier than ever as she shook it in a beaded ensemble.
The Grammy winner captioned the video: "#whosaidiwasntcoming #JLoAKA #WorldCup2014 #WeAreOne @pitbull @claudialeitte."
