Zac Efron is doing just fine — or so it seems. The Neighbors actor stepped out following his alleged fight in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles on Friday, March 28. The star appeared to have no cuts or bruising on his face, as he sat in the passenger seat of a car next to a male friend.
As previously reported, Efron, 26, was allegedly involved in a fight when he and his bodyguard were approached on Sunday, March 23. While sitting in a car, Efron reportedly decided to throw a bottle out the window, which smashed near a group of homeless people. A fight ensued, and Efron was punched in the mouth. At the time of the incident, a spokesperson for the LAPD told Us that “officers were flagged down at 2:30 a.m.” but “no reports were taken.” (Efron took a nasty fall and broke his jaw last November.)
Efron’s night the day before was quite the contrast. The High School Musical alum enjoyed mingling with other A-listers at Rob Lowe’s 50th birthday party at Soundstage in L.A. Other boldfaced names in attendance included Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia DiRossi, Cameron Diaz, Oprah Winfrey, and the cast of Parks and Recreation. Newly single Gwyneth Paltrow was also there without estranged husband Chris Martin.
“Zac was chill,” an insider told Us of his demeanor. “There was a mini roast with Rob’s friends toasting to the big guy,” the source added. Kenny G was on hand to perform, and those who couldn’t make it — including Jody Foster, Robert Downey Jr. and Ricky Gervais — pre-taped a special video for Lowe.
