The boys are back together! John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier had a Full House reunion while taping a commercial for the upcoming Super Bowl. The actors, who starred on the ABC sitcom from 1987-1995, came together in a Dannon Oikos teaser.
In the clip, the ever-so-cool Uncle Jesse (Stamos) appears to be eating a Dannon yogurt alone in his kitchen while watching a sports game. But the camera quickly pans right to show Coulier and Saget in nightwear reminiscent of their Uncle Joey and Danny Tanner days.
“What do you say boys, time to go to bed?” Stamos, 50 asks the two guys. “Don’t you think it’s time we all get our own places?” Saget, 57, responds, as Coulier, 54, yawns. “Nah,” the pals all say in unison. (Stamos has been a spokesperson for Dannon since 2011.)
The former ’90s costars have kept in touch since the series ended 18 years ago in 1995. The actors are often photographed together, and have spent time with their onscreen daughters and nieces. Last November, Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner) told Us Weekly she would “totally” be up for an official reunion on the small screen.
“It’s been thought about for a long time. A lot of things would have to work out for that to happen,” Bure, 37, told Us at the Celebrity Stuff-a-Thon benefitting Baby2Baby in L.A. on Nov. 16. “I keep saying, never say never.” (At the time, a rumor surfaced that a series sequel was actually in the works.)
