Goodbye, Katniss Everdeen…Hello, bombshell! A back-to-blonde Jennifer Lawrence traded her no-fuss Hunger Games braid for a glam 1970s-inspired updo to film her new movie in Boston, Mass., on Friday, March 22.
The historical crime drama finds Lawrence reteaming with her Silver Linings Playbook director, David O. Russell, to play the wife of Christian Bale's conman-turned-FBI operative. But with her long hair piled high in a bouffant atop her head, the 22-year-old Oscar winner looked more like a model from the pages of a vintage fashion magazine.

Speaking about the film last year, Russell said that audiences would be surprised by the actors' performances. "They're all going to do things we haven't seen them do in this movie," he told Indiewire of the star-studded cast, which includes Lawrence's Silver Linings costar Bradley Cooper, as well as Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.
"It's going to be very exciting. Renner's going to be like you never saw him, Bradley's going to be like you never saw him," he teased. "They're all playing real-life characters from the '70s, and they're very intense in an insane drama."
