2011 will end on a happy note for Anthony Weiner after all!
The disgraced former New York Congressman is now a first-time dad, as wife Huma Abedin gave birth to a son, Jordan Zane Weiner, on Wednesday, according to the New York Post.
The political couple's little boy — whose due date was Dec. 31 — weighed in at just over 7 pounds, a source told the paper.
The New York Times first reported in June that Abedin, 35, was expecting — just days after Weiner, 47, fessed up to engaging in X-rated internet conversations with at least six women over the last three years. (The former Congressman initially lied about the Twitter fracas.)
He resigned from Congress later that month.
"We will weather this," Wiener told reporters of he and Abedin, a longtime aide to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. "I love her very much, and she loves me."
