Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, welcomed a baby girl on Saturday, December 23.
The country star confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Christmas Eve.
“I had no idea I could love somebody as much as I love @hayley_hubbard but last night God gave us Olivia Rose and melted our hearts,” he captioned a photo that showed him kissing his wife on the head as she cradled their newborn. “We love this little girl more than words can describe and it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet. Our life has been forever been changed for the better.”
“I can’t wait to share more photos with y’all,” he added. “I’ll try to contain myself from being the annoying parent that post 50 pics a day but I’ve already taken over 100 so forgive me.”
Hayley also shared a photo on Instagram, writing, “On cloud nine with our new little bundle of joy Olivia Rose!! God couldn’t have brought us a more perfect gift this Christmas. What. a. miracle!! It hasn’t even been 24 hours and Tyler has been so fun to watch as a new Dad #SoInLove #ChristmasMiracle.”
The couple, who wed in July 2015, confirmed that they were expecting their first child together in June, with Hubbard sharing the exciting news on Instagram alongside two Polaroids of the couple as Hayley held her pregnancy test.
“We’ve had such a hard time not telling everybody for the last few months because we are SO excited…. WE ARE PREGNANT,” Hubbard, 30, wrote. “Holy cow we’re going to be parents. God is so good and we can’t wait for this next chapter of our life. #lilhubbard.”
The first-time parents revealed they were having a girl in August, after mistakenly believing they were expecting a boy.
“Gods got jokes……After thinking we are having a boy for the last few months, turns out the blood test was wrong and we’re actually having a little girl,” the “This Is How We Roll” singer captioned an Instagram pic. “Woe… so many emotions but really really excited about this next chapter even if God does like throwing us a curve ball every now and then. Just keeping us on our toes. #daddysgirl.”
